Here's what we found for "Credit for an item that didn't sell"

If you cancel a sale because you no longer want to sell the item or the buyer changed their mind, you may be able to get a credit for the final value fee, the insertion fee, or both.

Insertion fee credit

Normally, insertion fees aren't refundable. However, if you cancel a sale after a listing ends, the insertion fee credit will be credited to your account automatically.

Final value fee credit

You'll be charged a final value fee if you don't complete a sale with a buyer. However, if you cancel a sale after the listing ends, the final value fee will be credited to your account automatically.
